Characteristics:

- Joker's lieutenants are stronger, tougher and meant to give Batman a good run for his money.
- The Riddler is back. Although he never shows his face, he steps up his game and takes a more hands-on approach, to the point where he threatens the lives of innocent civilians as well as Batman.
- The question marks that appear in Detective mode often don't point to the trophy itself, but to minions who know where it is - and you'll need to extract the information from them.
- The trophies themselves are also in much harder to reach locations, so if you want to take down the Riddler, you'll have to work for him.
- Other villains that appear in the game are: Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Bane, Mr Freeze, Talia al. Ghoul, Black Mask, Hugo Strange and Solomon Grundy.
